Fawn Brodie McKay was born September 15, 1915 was raised in Ogden Utah. Fawn MCKAY, raised in the Mormon Church's First Family, utilized her writing talent as well as expertise in research to write the intriguing biographical psycho-historical study of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945 under the title"No Man is a Master of My History, she used both. This title was inspired by an 1844 funeral sermon by the Church of Latter-Day Saints' founder.
