Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British composer and singer. Harry Styles was one among the founders of One Direction. Born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England the 1st of February, 1994. He is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where he created his own group of musicians with 3 classmates. The band he called the White Eskimo. They won the Battle of Bands in 2009 due to their impressive performance. He was always interested in music. However, he wanted to become an attorney or a physical therapist. A part-time job in a city bakery in his early opportunity to make money for his family. Harry Styles, in 2010 made an audition for The X Factor. His song Is not She Lovely was and was performed by Stevie Wonder. The group was then forced to disband due to this. After the audition in The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles join the group that was to be named One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in the year 2010. The group played songs, such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group was one of the contenders to be the winner. They were however 3rd place, behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell did not get the win in the contest. But Cowell gave Harry Styles a 2 million pounds contract with Syco.
