Lisa Edelstein was an American actress, best known as the actress who starred in Fox's House medical drama. In a strict Jewish background the actress was able to move from Wayne into New York City when she aged 18 and began attending Tisch School of the Arts. The school soon became a fixture in the New York club scene and started getting headlines. Also, the press took notice of her. She eventually used her experience as well as her celebrity to create and write an musical entitled Positive Me which she played a role in. Soon after she was recruited by MTV to be the host of Awake on the Wild Side. After the show ended her appearances began in films and television productions beginning with small parts, but gradually establishing herself as an actor.
